    Totally lost. Am I screwed?

So I'm new to the Wii game. Done modding of my 360 and that seems worlds easier than this stuff. Anyway, I followed this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html as my Wii was 3.1, and didn't seem to run into any problems. I followed each step all the way through 5. Great I'm thinking, now to try out a backup. After loading all the Wads listed in 5d, I rebooted the Wii and now it just keeps going straight to the Priiloader menu or System Menu or whatever it's called. I can no longer get to the main Wii screen and load games, or anything else for that matter. All I can do is get to the Homebrew channel through the system menu, but that doesn't do me any good.

I apologize for the stupid question but I don't even know where to begin as far as searching for this issue. If someone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Am I screwed? Do I have to redo something? I've rebooted countless times, gone into settings and changed Autostart to ever option, and nothing works. No matter what it always starts right up into the System menu from which I can't seem to get anything to run. Any help?

I did. I've tried every option of Autoboot and no matter what it loads into the Preloader menu. Here's a real stumper for you. I decided screw it and to put my Wii back, so I followed the "How to remove softmods and make your Wii a virgin" guide. Went through, ran NandClean and did everything in that guide step by step. Removed bootmii, homebrew, everything. Reboot the Wii. What happens? It STILL goes into the preloader.

Seriously, if someone can offer some help I would really appreciate it. Did I somehow manage to totally ruin my Wii? Now as far as I can tell everything should be gone, and yet it is still loading into the preloader. Any thoughts? No matter what I try or what option I pick, or the fact that I've actually removed the preloader in every way that I can tell (through Nandclean and such) it still managed to go to the preloader screen. I'm guessing there isn't any way back to the reguler Wii for me is there?

When you load preloader, what system ios and system menu is displayed? If it does not say ios60, your in trouble.

Don't worry your wii will be fine.

I could be totally wrong but maybe you need to take the priiloader stuff off the SD card.
I remember something telling me to take certain files off the SD card or it would load the priiloader menu every time. Can anyone elaborate more on this or am I totally off rocker?

preloader/priiloader installs itself to the NAND. So even if you took the preloader/priiloder files off the SD it still resides in the system.

Hi, sorry it took me a bit to respond. I had to wait until I got off work to see what the versions said for sure. Now I can say, it says IOS v60, Systemmenu v449, and priiloader v0.1 (r15)

There is more text below those versions but they are cut off on my TV. Hopefully that helps. If there is some way to fix this please let me know. Of course I'd have to screw up my Wii right as Christmas nears.
