cIOSCORP v3.5 i see there is an option to install, but reading about it, seems like it only increases the chances of a brick. Do i really need to install this to play backup dvdr's? I plan on using the usb/sd loader for the most part. Or is this a program that increases the compatibility?

I would advise NOT installing cIOSCORP, the only thing cIOSCORP does for you is allow the playing of backups through the disc channel. You can play backups without this, you will just need to use a loader instead of the disc channel [such as NeoGamma].

Gracios i was probably going to make a HUGE!!!!! mistake. But will i be able to play gamecube back up files? I saw the cIOSCORP files had a the mIOS patch. Do i need to just install those files and erase(not install)the rest of the cIOSCORP.

Thanks alot you guys are awesome. Everything so far is working super. I now see postings for certain games that need "special" IOS such as the rock band(mic and instruments), nsmb, animal crossing.

Am i right that i would just download and install the wads into the wad folder of my sd card, then install using the wad manager? ie cIOS hermes, nsmb patch
