I want to soft mod my Wii, I figure the only thing I will be using the sd card for is to mod the Wii, so I am hoping I can just use my micro sd card with a SD card adapter, does anyone know if this is safe?

yes you can use one i used for awhile(but not all cards work), i just went back to using it in my cell.
I'm using a micro Kingston with an adapter in mine with no probs.
Thanks guys, you saved me a trip and some cash. I will just use my micro SD.
I think they do work. 2gb as usual. Although after the v4.0 update some cards OVER 2gb dont work as great. Ive had a few problems while modding.

trial and error really mine did work then it didnt as soon a s i changed the card it worked agin just make sure you format it right
