    how to format SD card in windows 7

    i am a newbie to the wii and am trying to format a 1gb sd card i just bought to fat32. but in windows 7, when i right click it doesn't give me options. it formats but doesn't ask me to what. am i missing something. i have the card hooked up through my camera. the device is listed as removable. it doesn't have a drive letter. any help would be appreciated.

    Not all cameras may allow you to format the SD Card in it. You'll need to insert a SD Card into a SD Slot or use micro sd with an adapter of some sort.

    my camera is also a canon. i don't have any other device with a sd slot. so i guess i am going to have to pick up the adapter. is there a specific one i should get? thanks for help.

    I think anyone should do. If your pc doesn't have a SD Slot, then you could get a mini SD Card, with a SD Adapter and USB Adapter. The USB Adapter so you can connect to your PC and the SD Adapter so you can use it in your wii. I'd recommend the 2GB Sandisk
