    if you were me

I just got a new wii lu7097xxxxx. Should I softmod it or trade it with a friend who got one about a year ago? Should I just hold out and get the WODE? I'm not that bright with this kinda stuff, would be a nother thing to consider.

If you got a new wii then you are probaly on sys menu 4.2... You can soft-mod it with this thread... But its all up to you.... if you are not on sys menu 4.2 still use that thread and you can find out what tutorial to use....

    thanks

If you are not happy soft modding go for a hard mod. The Wode looks good.
If you really want to play backup DVD's change your Wii, or drive chip.

Check your serial number first, it may be OK.

John is right. We are not here to spoon feed you everything you need to know, you have to do some stuff all by yourself
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
