extracting the image from a burned wii game?

this is odd, i downloaded a game, imgburned it onto a dvd, played it fine. now i plopped it back into my laptop to take a look at the properties, and it says empty disc. 0 bytes used, 0 bytes available. i was hopin to use the img to backup on an external hdd in the future. what's the problem?

99.9 percent of drives won't read wii games. When you rip it to usb zip the iso and keep it on your pc in case you want to burn another copy

IMGburn will still create an image from the burned disc even if the dvd rom says there is nothing in the drive.

i'm assuming this only means i can use my burned dvd to make another burned dvd, but not to get it on my computer itself?

Can anyone confirm that image burn will copy a copy? I've always assumed that it wouldn't work and have never tried. That would make my life a lot easier...

Yes it can, it extracts the iso to your pc and then you just re-burn it.
