    Trouble with wii settings

    I d/l and played the first five mins of NSMBW, I have a Wiikey2, then I get the error,,,, Now when I goto Wii settings, to check my version, (4.1 or 4.2 can't remember so need to check) I get a screen saying "you tried to access blah blah blah" for help goto "opera" something,
    How do I get rid of this and be able to see my settings, this happen to anyone else???

    It sounds like you just updated from an out of region disk. That is never a good idea, so be sure to never do it again. Most chips will have some form of update block to prevent this from happening. Be sure to review your chip and ensure you are blocking disk updates.

    You have two options.
    1- wait for a newer game to be released with a new system menu update in your region. Then update from that disk. This could take some time.

    2- softmod your wii and manually install the appropriate system ios and system menu for your region. So if you wanted you could follow the 3.1-4.1 guide linked below, steps 1-3. Then you could install the patched ios60.wad with wadmanager, after that you could install system menu 4.1.wad for your region. Then finish it off with the installation of priiloader. That should fix your issue.
