BrickBlocker vs. WiiScrubber for removing Update Partition

I was wondering if there is a difference between patching the Update Partition w/ BrickBlocker and completely removing the partition with WiiScrubber. Will the game still work if I simply delete the partition?

    Thanks in advance!

I stopped being lazy and tested it on a New Super Mario Bros ISO I had. I don't know what was done to the ISO prior to me downloading it, but it has always worked on my Wii. I removed the Update Partition using WiiScrubber and it booted/played without any problem.

Does anyone know if this will lead to any issues that do not become apparent after 30 seconds of testing?

Wiiscrubber just does a more thorough job than brickblocker does. blocker pretty much just removes the files and scrubber removes the whole partition.

No it will not lead to any issues after prolonged testing.
