No. I haven't had any problems at all playing retail Wii games. They load fine.

I feel you on testing something out for youself to form your own opinion. I am the same way. Having a system with BootMii as boot2, with preloader and a nand backup is the best setup for testing something like cioscorp. Or anything for that matter. Smart thinking on your part.

I'm assuming by you saying that I would remember installing cioscorp that it's installation is memorable. Did you check the tutorial I linked too? To see if in fact if I had installed it while following it?

I do have preloader installed and just checked its settings. All I changed from default setting was to disable game disk system update, enable auto press A at the health screen, and enable region free for Wii games. I do have BootMii installed but was only giving the option to install as IOS.

Do you recall what the issue was with this other person, preloader and their Wii games?

No i think you would know if you installed cioscorp, and the guide you followed was the same i used to do 4 other wiis and no cioscorp there. I don't remember what setting it was this person said they had to change, but the whole thing did seem surreal to me and i didn't bother to confirm if such a thing could be true or not. There must be something you did differently at some point though, Maybe an ios file was installed for another reason, sure would be nice to know to help others in this situation.

Not sure if you know it but in the meantime go to the purplecube.com and get all the gamecube iso files you want then use MultiGame ISO creator to put 3 or 4 gamecube games on one backup disk.

Priiloader option to region free Wii games disables Gamecube games in Disc Channel

Dude! I have to thank you for bringing up the possibility of Priiloader being an issue. Seeing as I only changed 3 settings. Auto press A at the health screen is trivial and insignificant. And Disabling Wii games ability to update the system menu has nothing to do with Gamecube games. Then it dawned on me that whatever Priiloader is doing to region free Wii games while loading them might affect Gamecube games as well. As they are both loaded/read from the same source... The Disc Channel. So I turned region free off and it works! Turns out the setting to region freeing Wii games Disables Gamecube games from loading in the Disc Channel. I can't tell you how happy I am to finally get to play my Gamecube games again.

Thanks for the tip on MuliGame ISO creator. Though I'm not really into burning disks for the Wii. That's what my 500gig usb hd is for. I will check it out and read up on it. I'll save the disk burning for my 360

This post should be sticked. Or at least this information should be added to the softmod tutorial myself and many others have followed, that now have this issue and have unknowingly brought upon themselves. This should also be added to any Priiloader faqs or installation tutorials that exist. That is if people care to update their instructions

To whom it may concern my Priiloader installation states v0.3 (r32), IOS v60, & System menu v449.

    Again, Oddgriffin, thank you.

Ok, glad that worked. I brought up the multi-game iso creator because as far as i know, there is no way to play those backups from the hard drive and at least this way you can fit more than 1 iso on the disk so it isn't as wasteful.

Really? It's not possible to play Gamcube isos from a usb hard drive??
I didn't know that. I thought I could. If that's the case then I definitely want to thank you for hooking me up with useful information.

    Gamecube Controller

Mine wouldnt load through the regular menu. But it loaded through the Neogamme. However my only problem is, that I cant get my wii controllers to work. Do you have to use the orignal Gamecube Controller to play a Gamecube game?
Cos those are stored away at my parents place on the other side of the planet.

yea, I don't know where you live, but here in the states they sell the imitation ones at the dollar stores. About 10 bucks and they work great.
