Question I don't know what to do...

I really want to get the homebrew channel on my wii (menu 4.2) and mainly the only thing I want to do/will do is animal crossing editing, get a gold pants mii , and maybe play around with the move swapping in brawl. Everything else you can do with the homebrew channel I have no interest in.

I have a great fear in getting my wii bricked somehow because if I do my dad will kill me. Though I am a computer person so it's not like I would be some clueless dude who will mess up on something stupid.

I just don't know if I should install the homebrew channel or not. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

A long as you read through the instructions carefully a couple of times you should be okay.

If you are still unsure ask a friend who is a little more confident with modding / hacking who can help you.

    Remember! If in doubt ask.

Here is a guide below if you do fancy givining it a go.

If you are that scared don't do it.

That said if you follow the guide properly and don't make changes you should be just fine.

Well my only concern is being bricked. I've done loads of searched and I cant really find a straight answer. Could anyone give me one? I'm pretty though it has to do with playing an out of region game?

i'm sorry what was the question? can you brick your wii with an out of region game? yes if you allow the game to update the system. it will put system files onto the wii that are of the wrong region.
