    Installing wad files?

Ok, I must be thick or something but how do you install WAD files?

Ok Wii is softmodded see sig for info. I can load games via usb hdd using Neogamma and WiiFlow but I can't get USB Loader_GX to work. The reason I want USB Loader_GX to work is so I can rip a game from disc to hdd.

I want to uninstall and then reinstall USB Loader_GX because I used the update feature to upgrade to r834 i think that's the revision it showed, anyway, when I come to load USB Loader_GX it shows the revision as r807 and then fails with an cIOS error of some sort then a dump screen.

On my SD card I have the folders:

    • apps
    • codes
    • config
    • GEEBOX
    • images
    • mame
    • private
    • txtcodes
    • WAD
    • wiiflow

in the WAD folder I have a USB Loader GX r815 - ULNR.wad file and would like to install it, so how do I please?

I have a few wad managers in my mediafire apps folder (click my sig)

Just drop the folder in your SD:\apps and launch using HBC.

Got the wadmanager-1.4.sorg.wiininja.Mod2 installed and working fine, the wadmanager-1.5.sorg.wiininja.Mod3 kept throwing up the -1 error.

Anyway I can now get USB Loader_GX R815 up and running and ripping Games to the HDD.

Thanks to Tristan for replying too, you triggered my memory and once I'd got my brain in gear I remembered it all. Won't forget in a hurry lol! I have no idea why I didn't have a wad manager installed!!

As a PS: where can I get the Preloader? @tealc: is the Priiloader the same thing? and if it is would you mind if I got that too?

Would I mind? Not at all

Priiloader is a mod of Preloader 0.30. Preloader is no longer being updated by the creator apparently so for future releases it's probably going to have to be Priiloader.
