Unhappy Help with 4.2 homebrew install

    Hi,

can someone help. Foolishly i purchased the homebrew 4.2 software and installed it to my 3.3 Wii.
The software appears to have installed and i have all the options. When i put a back up game that i know works on a freinds machine all i get is a black screen after loading.
Can anyone help. Is there anything i can do.
The wii still plays the non back ups fine and all the other elements of the homebrew install seems to work.
I select neogamer, install back up disc it loads only to a black screen.

Seems like you have some missing/outdated IOS needed for the game to run. Find out what IOS you need from here:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...s-use-run.html

then find the .wad for the IOS and install via WAD Manager or use DOP-IOS.

Also you said you purchased your homebrew, homebrew is supposed to be free.

a wad file is basically a wii installation file. You should have an app called WAD Manager in the homebrew channel when your sd card is in your wii. Plug in your sd card into your PC and find the wad files for the needed IOS which was shown to you in the list. Download the wad files and place them into the folder on the root of the sd card called WAD.

Re-insert it into your wii and run homebrew channel, load wad manager and follow the onscreen instructions.
