    System menu doesn't load

Trying to softmod my wii which was a v3.4 when I started. I went through all the steps in the softmod guide in order (as far as I know) and now that I have gone through everything, my system menu won't load. I had an exception (DSI) occured! error immediately after installing priiloader but after hitting rest it loaded priiloader fine. So now I am confused as to where I could have gone wrong? I'm new to this so I'm unsure how to get my system menu back...Any help is appreciated.

As of now my priiloader and HBC work fine.

if you change "autoboot" to system menu and "load to" system menu in preloader what happens?

99% of preloader fail is due to the fact people only read what they want, and not what they should (the whole thing). I done this once, started back over with iinstalling ios 60 patched then did the waninkoko 4.1 updater, then back to preloader

My priiloader boots up fine, I just can't get into the system menu. I have settings in priiloader set to autoboot to system menu but when I start up it goes to priiloader (probably cause my system menu is messed). If I select system menu from prilloader, it does nothing.
I tried reinstalling ios60-patched and then re-running f/w 4.1 upgrader but it still doesn't change anything. Should I just start the whole process over from step 3?
I also found a file for SystemMenu-NTSCU-v449.wad which I think is the 4.1 system menu...if I install this will that help? Or at least confirm if this is the right file?

Just use NUS and download a new system menu, re-install that system menu and that will get you back up and running. You probably DID NOT install the patchedIOS60 as tristan had stated. This is common for people who skip over parts. That WAD is the right wad for System Menu 4.1.

When priiloader loads, what ios and system menu is displayed?
    Ipsa scientia potestas est.

I got it working by following the directions on this post.

I know that I installed the IOS60-patched but I installed it before updating to 4.1, maybe I should have done it after? Either way, it seems to be running now. Thanks for all the help.

I have exact same problem except im on 4.2e and in my priiloader it says iosv70
    and systemmenu v482.

So do I need a patch for ios 70?
and the install a system menu 4.2 wad?

    Any help would be awesome.
