classic controller (wad games)

hi all just about to buy a classic controller to play wad games, does any1 know if the controller that fit into the wii remote works with the games or do i have to get the classic controller that plugs into the wii?

if you are referring to a gamecube controller then it is just that. other games can use classic controller or wiimote sideways.

thanks for the quick reply but the classic controller has 2 fitments 1 same as the gamecube and 1 that can fit into the wii remote

they both work,get which ever u prefer. i use the GameCube controller cuz i had a GC and it works no problem.
