    Question Is this legal.

Alright, I got a call from my sisters friend and he says that he has some Wii's that need to be modded for some people. I told the guy I could teach him how to mod (homebrew) his wii, but he said, its a hassle and he has some other stuff to do. I told the guy, why not, I could do them for free, and I won't charge anything, so everything legal right now. But then he said he could pay me to do multiple wii a week. He offered lets say 7-10 Wii's a week, and I can get $20 a week for services. Its really simple to. I just install the homebrew channel and USB Loader Gx (for what, well that's his business and so, I know the team tweezer guys and stuff hate it when people take there software and trick people into buying it, but thats not what I am doing, I'm just technically charging for SERVICES. + I don't ever see the people, I just see this one guy. So I just wonder whether its Fair or legal. Its services too, Im not selling software.

It really depends on what country you are in, and it is a very gray area. I think modchips are illegal in the states, but not in Canada and most of the world. That being said, cios38 is most likly illegal within the states. Also consider what he is doing with the wii', 2 dollors he will pay you, that is less than minimum wage. You would be better of cutting grass.

    It is probably illegal.

Well, he's probably making big profit if he's only giving u 20$ a WEEK. None the less, don't bother with it, let him figure it out.

    perhaps

perhaps $10 a wii? I just wanted to make sure I'm not breaking any rules. But he did mention $10 a wii. and 10 Wii's a week is 100 bucks. Easy cash for swapping a SD card in and out of a computer

But later down the chain, when the wii's get sold, customers will complain because not every game will work, then BOOM guy comes and complains to you.
