With one/some/all of your SD cards inserted does the DVD slot do the double boot2 flash?
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

I am assuming that by a double boot2 flash, the DVD slot should flash twice when I turn the wii on. It only does 1 brief flash when starting.

Here is a YouTube link for a quick video that I made with my phone to attempt to show you what the wii is doing.

Yes I can see bootmii flashing up. I'm still completely baffled why it would do this though.

If my SD card was not compatible, could it do this?

You've tried so many cards though.

No I believe this is not related to SD cards. When an SD card is incompatible it doesn't load the bootmii menu as it is actually stored on SD. So your Wii is finding the bootmii files, loading them and then skipping on to the next thing for some reason.

You could try making a post on Wiibrew Wiibrew Forums :: BootMii Beta

    Tealc-

Thank you for taking your time to try to help me with this problem. I posted a link of this conversation to the wiibrew website, hopefully they will have some insight on this. If you come up with something please let me know. I will let you know if this somehow gets resolved. Thanks again.

    Jeff
