Thread: homebrew on 4.2e

    homebrew on 4.2e

    i`ve followed the guide and homebrew channel is on when i go to part b i put the files on the sd card put it in the wii hit homw on the hb channel and nothing happens, if i go to the sd card icon and look for the files there not there, but when i look at the card on the pc they show up, any ideas?

    Are you sure the SD card is formatted as FAT32? Even if it is you may want to format it again, just to be sure. Also certain cards won't work, SanDisk 2gb non-SDHC cards have the best success rate

    is this formatted fat 32 and a regular sd not sdhc or something. 2 gig sandisk recommended but others may still work

    the card is formatted to fat32 and is a 4GB scandisk SDHC card

    need to try a regular sd card the apps that you are working with need to be on the easiest to read media.

    ok thanks for the info i will get one and give it a try, also once u have install say neogamma do u have to have it on the sd and in the wii

    it can be used as an app in which case it would reside on the sd card to be used. there are other versions that can be installed as a channell using the wad manager app. then the sd card is not needed to use it. the one in the guide is a wad therefore installed as a channel. so you wont need it on the sd card.
