    DVDX 4.2 guide

So I just installed everything using the 4.2 guide, everything seems to work great except playing DVD movies. I know at the beginnin of the guide it had me install dvdx and i've even went and tried to download the DVDX app on the homerbrew channel and when i install it gives the 2011 error. I also downloaded MPLAyer xmas edition media player and tried to play dvd on that but did not work.
What am I doing wrong, is this possible to play movies on 4.2?

i never got it to play dvd move files (vob) very well unless they were small insize, and i have heard the same from alot of ppl. i usually use it to play divx (avi) and it does it quite nicely.

Maybe you can try CIOS Installer by the Mplayer CE team. If that doesn't work, then try Hermes CIOS installer. Use MPlayer CE to play DVDs. It's possible to play DVDs, I am on 4.2U myself
