which backup loader are you using?

Most USB loaders have an option for "anti 002" or "002 fix",

The newer versions of neogamma (r7/r8) have the option built in, so it wont need activating.

You dont load cios38 rev14, you install it using the cios38 rev14 installer. Search for it on this site and download it. There will be 1 folder which will be the cios installer. Place that folder in your apps folder on your sd card. Then there should be a wad file. Place that in the root of your sd card. Run HBC and run cios installer. Do the wad installation and select the ios38 wad. Once installed, try neogamma. Plus the reason your getting error 002 screen is not because of the cios. Your missing the ios needed to play the game.
If I have helped you in any way, please thank me by pressing the little thanks button.

Maybe I should think about upgrading from r5 to r7. Is there any known issues I should know about first? I just got a hard drive today and got usb loader gx up and running so Im still learning a few things with that. Maybe you could help me a tad davepm?

OK, got cIOS38rev14 to 'load' / 'update'. The version of NeoGammer that I am using is version 6! Boy, I wish that I had found this site before! Is it possible to simply load a later version??

Still getting 002 error with Rev14

Might head down the HDD route on Monday when I can lay my hands on some hardware.... Either that or I need more faith in what I am doind won't break anything! Will have another read of the instructions and decide.. I feel that I am making a mountain out of something really quite simple!...
