did i fry my usb port? HELP NEEDED!

okay so I finally gave in and went out and bought a TB. installed usb loader gx, and all the necessary stuff. after messing around with my hard drive for 2 days trying to get it to work, i decided to give my 4gb flash drive a try, and it worked. i started to backup my GH: Metallica game to my flash drive through the loader just to see if it worked, and it did. it got to about 20% percent done, and i said screw it and turned the wii off cuz i finally got my tb partitioned and formated like i had been trying to do for days. when i turned off the wii mid process of backing up, and put in the usb from the TB it now doesnt read it!! same with the flash drive. it says " USB device not found" , and then has a 30 second countdown searching for it.i uninstalled the loader, and the forwarder and reintalled it and still nothing. searched the web for answers but there weren't any topics about it so here i am.......does anyone know what im talking about, or can anyone help? i tried using neogamma to load it but it wouldnt mount my hard drive or flash drive wither....

    help!

you cant format it as fat, its too big! Max size for FAT is 2 GB (4 GB with 64KB clusters)

You must format as WBFS for the wii to read the ISO's from it.

you need to use the USB port that is closest to the outside of the Wii.

okay listen. every time i go to use my hard drive and flash drive i format them with wbfs manager. my flash drive works, but my terabyte doesnt. it says no partition found and when it says do you want to partition it i say yes. then theres 4 partitions and it says i cannot partition any of the 4. this is why i started using my flash drive (its always in the usb port closest to the left corner). after i shut off my wii halfway through backing up an iso on it, it no longer reads my fllash drive or my hard drive. i need to know how to get that to work again before i monkey around with my terabyte again...this is the real problem.
