    Exclamation UNBRICK with drivekey help

    hi iv got a 'banner brick' on 3.1e i got my drivekey today and i installed it. i loaded the wad manger thru savemiifrii but the wii remote wont sync so i cant press 1 for sd card.

    do i tried an update from dirt 2 and the drivekey flashed for a while then black screen so i restarted the wii and was still bricked

    BUT when i went into savemefrii again its saying im running 3.4e so it has updated but still no system menu.

    can somone please help? thanks

    Updating will not fix a banner brick.

    You need to remove the wad that is causing the brick to fix this.

    Try the UUDv2 (Universal Unbrick Disc v2) it boots wad manager.

    AutoBootUniversalUnbrick DiscV2-UUDv2.rar
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    i had the wii given to me by a friend he says he had ot flashed then it just stopped working he has no idea what went wrong.

    i have no idea what wad did this

    Ok Mediafire seems to be blocking that file again.

    Have uploaded to my own webspace temporarily until another solution presents grab it here- UUDv2
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Oh I see you already managed to load Wad manager.

    Is the brick presenting itself with a corrupt message after the Health & Safety message?
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Hmm ok perhaps not banner brick then and I see now why you put it like 'banner brick'

    So is this Wii old enough to take boot2 do you think? If we could somehow get hackmii installer to load that would be quite useful as we could use it to launch stuff.

    The typical method of recovering a full brick would be system menu installation, in this case IOS50 v4889 and System Menu v386 which you should have attained from the 3.4 update you did. It's just so difficult to run anything on a Wii with no homebrew or preloader/bootmii. Even a Loadmii unbrick disc would be handy.
