new super mario bros origianl and a mooded wii

hello, let me start with, english is not mine languaje so, im sorry for the bad grammar.

I'm new at this, i have a modded wii with 4.1U, I did follow all the instructions and still cant play the game, even thou i was able to install the HMBC and emulatos, well, I decide that I will buy the game instead of trying to play a backup that mine fried did, (i know i know), mine question is:

If i buy the game and try to play the game in mine wii, it will give me a error or it will play without any issue?

    Thank you for any response.

the retail version of the game should work but it may prompt you to run an update. the question here is in your modification did you simply install homebrew channel or did you modify the system files as well. depending on what system menu you have and what the extent of your modification is the update could present a problem.

It should do. The problems you have are due to trying to load the backup, a retail disc is designed to work.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
