Nothing so far. 4.2 is still quite new for it to appear on discs yet. Could be a couple of months.

Responding to a previous message of yours I have seen custom update partitions being loaded onto discs, however it has been quite some time since I have seen this so it might not be a valid solution for a Wii above 3.2 (trucha fix).

At what stage of the boot process is this system corrupt message coming up?

Unusual. The garbled message usually comes up after the Health and Safety Screen. You haven't modded the H&S screen so it doesn't appear or something have you?

The garbled message normally points towards a banner brick, something which I am seeing a lot of these last few days. I wonder why all of a sudden.

Yes I know you can do the GC trick. Trouble is you can't seem to boot anything useful. It's almost as if you don't have Trucha enabled or the modchip does not autoboot.

Might be worth popping the Wii open to try and identify the modchip to check if it is of the autobooting variety. There was a list somewhere. If it is and it's not set to autoboot then perhaps it can be dropped in another Wii and programmed.

Yes but if it is a banner brick it won't be fixed, the problem will still remain. Banner bricks are caused normally by installing a bad wad file.
