    Question triiforce error

ive installed the hbc on my wii it is LU50 with 4.2u ive gotten wad manager and most of the necessary apps however i had to dump my wii NAND through bootmii rather than simple fs because the simple fs would freeze upon attempting and my problem now is that i cant install the triiforce forwarder because that install freezes as well, i cant get triiforce ton detect a game on the nand and i installed the wad for the game using showmiiwads which was recommended for use if the other method did not work with WadToNand if any1 has some helpful information post it

As far as I am aware triiforce only works off a certain type of NAND dump and bootmii's is not it.

Fix the freezing issue with simple fs and you should be ok.

    You do have IOS249 (cIOS38rev14) don't you?
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Also I think wad manager 1.4 screws things, I had to use 1.5.

Triiforce can work off of a BootMii nand dump, but you need to decrypt it.

Go to post #55 in this link and follow the steps:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...sd-card-6.html

That tells how to create a usable nand from a BootMii dump.

i have cios38rev14 and bootmii was installed as an ios rather than boot2 because the guide i followed to install homebrew said that 4.2 had problems i dont know if that had anything to do with why simple fs freezes but sinyks post explains that the bootmii dump can work after decryption which i cant figure out why the decryped NAND wont work on triiforce as well as installing the forwarder i have wadmanager 1.5 i checked in the xml document for it

Have you tried the other versions of SimpleFSDumper? Google Simple FS Dumper and go to the second link it shows. (Should be something about SimpleFSDumper 0.2 at gbatemp) There are extra download links if the original does not work. Maybe one of those will work for you.

Also, are you putting the files from the decrypted nand on the root of your sd card? make sure each individual folder (shared1, shared2, ticket, title, tmp...) are all on the root of the card and not in another folder somewhere.
