    Exclamation Wiikey 2 issue

Been trying to be able to play some games on my newly bought wii.
Its a preowned wii with wiikey 2 (atleast what the previous owner says) and using 4.2E.

Ive been using my macbook for burning isos and verbatim dvd-r 2-4x speed. Been using both built in disctools and toas titanim.

When i insert the discs into my wii it just says disc read error.

I wonder if there is any special way to try burn the isos that might work and if there is a way of knowing if the console really is modded with wiikey2 without opening the wii. (dont own a philips head screwdriver)

Before looking at software issues, maybe its the drive.
Serial numbers after LU3884XXXX and LEH2676XXXX have probably got the new D3-2 chip that prevents playing backup DVD's. They can still use USB loaders though.

Check that first, someone may have offloaded it on you.

LEH1009XX.. is the serialnumber and its the old DSM? chip or sumthing like that so it should be ideal for attaching modchips.

He seemed like a stand up guy who knew what he talked about, had no intentions of not letting me in at his home etc.
He told me he had played copied games before, told me to use verbatim dvd-r and so on.
Accourding to him he had given the old backups to his nephew, and thats really the reason why i want o check out if the wii really is chipped before i start to make accuses to him. Might aswell be my fault.

However what i've found it i should just be able to put in the disc and the game will load from the disc menu? Wii sports works fine wich is retail.
