    Blurred games

Hi ive just bought a chipped wii from a fella at work and a load of back up games came with it. The problem i have is that 50% of the games appear blurred. The only thing i can think of is that the games maybe NTSC and not PAL,has anyone else on here got another answer. Thanks

I don't think the problem is anything to do with region, if i was it would be more likely to be in black and white.

Is the whole screen blurred, all the time or some of the time?

What games has the problem, which don't.

The games that are blurred are,the conduit, top spin 3 and modern warfare reflex. It may have something to do with tv not supporting 60HZ(even though its a fairly new tv) as have just played original copy of mario galaxy and when i put it into 60 HZ the same blurring effect happened but in 50HZ its fine. Its not full screen it looks like the text and graphics are overlapping.

Have you tried changing the video options in Neogamma, this can sometimes help in situations like this, or do you access to another TV to try your Wii on?

It's all the things that say stuff like force video, force pal/nstc. I don't remember seeing any options for HZ in anything, but usually messing with those video options works. That's a pretty weird problem. I get a screen rolling on some out of region games till I force my region.

    Which neogamma are you on?

    In Neogamma go to

    • Region Options

    • Patch Video (change this using the right button on the Wiimote to ALL)

    • Return to Menu

    • Launch game
