    stupid bootmii question

    what happens if u put boot2 SD(already installed) into a new wii that could only be installed as IOS.
    boot2 is all on SD card right?cant u just copy the files? lols

    boot2 is NOT your SD card. A boot2 cannot just be moved from Wii to Wii. Those files that are on your SD for BootMii allow in the launching of the BootMii program that resides in boot2.

    i didint mean boot2 like that, just the instalation method as boot2. Since it boots when ur SD card is inside and Not if u take it out. So what would happen? nothing?

    boot2 is something COMPLETELY different then installing BootMii as an IOS. If you have it installed as IOS, then your stuck with IOS only, and have to use pre-loader or HBC to access BootMii. The installation of BootMii even states if you can install to boot2 or not, so how would you get around that in the first place?

    i know that, im just curious since i could only install as Ios.

    Then IOS is what your stuck with big guy/girl, sorry.
