Question re-install v289 system menu (3.2U) through wad manager to recover your semi-bricked

    Hi Experts,

I am totally new to Wii and just messed up my Wii while updating systme menue.
I just wanted to update Wii System Menu using WiFi. Suddenly, there are error 32007, I don't know why...

I restarted Wii, and now always get into preloader v0.29 and get the "Error autobooting file, try reinstalling! Could not open file! I tried to go to system menu, but couldn't. I could go to HBC though.
Please help me step by step as I am new to Wii. I have not used SD cards yet but I do have 32MB blank SD card. I tried to download WAD manager or V289 but I am unable to find it on internet.

    Thanks for your help.

You can get Wad manager from Waninkoko blog.

You can get v289 by using NUS Downloader to download the wad file directly from Ninty servers.

It should be oh so simple to find both programs by googling.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

No excuse for lazy google skills.

    Waninkoko Wad manager http://teknoconsolas.tv/wanin/WAD-Manager_v1.5.zip

NUS Downloader NUS Downloader - WiiBrew

Just load wad manager and install the wad you get from NUS Downloader.(You'll need to select pack >wad in the program)

You need to be sure that installing 3.2 system menu is the right course of action for your Wii. If you were running 3.2 prior to the issue then fine, otherwise you could end up really mucking up your Wii.

Hi Bro, can share how you finally got it done? I am in the same situation as you but can't get to reinstall my ISO and System Menu. My Wii Remote can't sync and am using a GC pad.
