    Stuck Dump

Hey I just followed this guide

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...tem-menus.html

All the way to where it says.
The following are really optional and not needed to play backups. Also mind that incorrect use of them might brick you!! so use with caution!!

But whenever i try to change the view or change any settings the wii goes to a black screen and says it is doing a stack dump and then everything dosnt work.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks
    Azza

What did you do because it sounds like you have semi-bricked your Wii. A semi-brick is normally caused by updating the Wii to a region that is not yours. i.e. Updating a USA Wii with Euro firmware.

The 4.2 tutorial does not feature an update like this, so what did you do?
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Hey i dont know.
I checked what version my wii was and it said that it was v4.2e (i live in Australia)
so i saw this guide and decided to follow it.

I used all of the first downloads and read it 2 times before i started and then read it while i was doing it as well i also tried restoring it with the NAND backup and trying again but it still had the same problem.

I had a similar problem after installing usb loader gx, when I tried to download the cover images it crashed once they were done and said stack dump too. I think the lock was on my SD card so it couldn't write the png files to it. It works fine now though.
