    Wii scrubber

Ok maybe this is dumb to ask but i have been reading up on the wii scrubber and still really dont under stand it. I downloaded wii scrubber 1.4 and when i scrub the game it is still 4.37 gigs. So i trimmed the game and it makes the game alot smaller. Can anybody tell me what scruubing does to the game and what trimming does? Thanks in advance for any help.

Scrubbing removes things like updates that you dont want (because it could knockout your softmod/chip) and if you trim the game it removes all the dummy data on the disc. For example, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is only about 350MB (or something like that) but the image that you burn to disc is 4.7GB. This is because the disc is padded out so it plays correctly in the Wii.

When you trim a game and make it smaller (proper size) they are easier to store on USB storage devices for direct play.

    I hope this helps

PS: when you trim a game, you dont lose any actual game data
