    Issues with Scrubbed ISO

Hey all, sorry if this has been addressed before, tried doing a search on it, but couldn't really find what I was looking for.

I had full ISOs on my PC, but was rapidly running out of space, after reading about scrubbing ISOs I decided to do that. Using WIIScrubber.

Scrubbed a copy of Wii Play, got the file size from 4Gb down to about 300Mb.

When I tried to play from the USB on the Wii I got a black screen with a Dump Error and loads of numbers. the Wii froze, was unable to go back to home etc.

Tried to unscrub but am getting io_read.

Wondering if someone could maybe shed some light/help? lol

When you put the iso's on a usb device with something like wbfs manager it shrinks them down to about as small as they're gonna get anyways if I'm not mistaken. Unless you're hurting for space I wouldn't be messing with scrubbing to shrink them. *this is just from what I've seen ripping. I usually load through discs*

    Yeah, I use WBFS Manager.

I was scrubbing for my PC, as was running out of space on the hard drive.

I've noticed it's went onto the USB at 0.00Gb?

That's a little odd. Do you still have the original iso to start over from? I have tons of iso's on my hard drive and when I zip them through 7 zip they shrink down to the size they are on the wbfs manager. Give that a shot in the future so you can maintain your iso's integrity.

    Us

if im not mistaken i think the wiiscrubber is used mainly for shrinking files down so they can be compressed and uploaded ..what it does is replace some of the original code in games with x's and o's ...nintendo is anal about using all the space on a dvd for some odd reason ...so if a game is only 300mb they insert "garbage" code to take up the extra space to 4.7 gig ...wiiscrubber replaces the original nintendo "garbage " code ...if you don't have the original iso and its reading as only 300 mb then what you have is the original game without the "garbage code " which is no doubt why it isn't playing now ..you will need to find another iso of this game and re download it .....hope this helps .....
