    Help with burning isos

    Hello!

Well, I am a total n00b at wii modding and such, and I would like to dl wii games from the internet. However, I have absolutely no idea how to burn them properly. I tried Guide: Creating and burning iso files but I dont understand anything, and when I burned a game via imgBurn, the couldnt read the disc. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Slow speed, imgburn, Verbatim DVD-R for best results.

Plus a good iso, I now use Dolphin the PC based emulator to check my iso. I have also used Wiiscrubber, another PC app to check the iso.

Saying that I've never had too much problems with isos, almost 100% of them have worked without any issues.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

I read in that guide I linked that only if I have an LG driver I can burn wii games. Is that true?

Nope. Certain LG drives can rip games. Any drive should be able to write an existing iso.

No thats if you want to backup games you own, also just wondering have you actually hacked the Wii in some way so it actually does boot the backup copies as the Wii won't read backups with out actually hacking the system in some way?

You need to read these guides what one depends on the firmware you have installed...

Have you updated the firmware on the mod chip? also as said before check you are burning slowly and use really good media -R.

Also you are going to want to use Wii Update Manager or Wii scrubber 1.40, use one of these on you ISO file to remove any updates that are included in the game unless the game ISO is already scrubbed by the uploader.

Not unless you know the make of your mod chip if you have a Wiikey for example you will need to download the update DVD for it, but if you have a CycloWiz thats a different story with the switch and all that.

If you know the make of the modchip then go to there website all the information will be on there site about updateing the mod chip firmware.

Failing that just download the mentiond files above google them and download them they are really easy to use.

    http://www.mediafire.com/file/t2e1zk...bber140Kit.rar <<< this is Wii scrubber 1.40
