    is buffalo hdd compatible with 4.1e wii

    hi is this hdd compatible with a 4.1e softmod.
    the details are:

    usb\vid_0411&pid_0108&rev_103

    usb\vid_0411&pid_108

    i want to use this to store my wii games on.
    when i put my hdd with my wii and open up usb loader gx it says no usb found ????

    ive formated it too.

    hi Sofia

    has it been formatted with wbfs,see it don't matter with wbfs it runrns it in to a wii hard drive so it should it should be read. wii done incompatibility issues no more. i work on wii's and have tried over 50 personally have not had problems yet
    Ive got a hard drive from the same company mine works

    for me most times i i mount usb through neogamma r8 beta its really awesome usb wont play the new Mario bros but neogamma r8 will

    what could i have not done for it not to work,thanks

    In the guide there is a detailed section on formatting.
    Did you find your drive in the compatability list.

    yes i did and it said it works as well as 1 post aove you has said it works too,im using neogamma as well as usb loader gx,dont know what to do next.
    its a buffalo hdd 500gb

    have you tried both usb ports? the wii can be fickle about it also your hdd might be going into standby mode before the wii can read it turn it off and then turn it on after the wii has booted up to the screen where it say's press a

    ha thats mad its worked on the other usb port,i thought it was a minor thing as i went thru all of it correctly,thanks all
