The themes root should be SD:\Wiiflow\themes. Inside each of these should be a folder for each theme (if you have more than the default), for instance, Carbonik, and inside this folder are a bunch of .png files, .ttf files, etc. In the Sd:\Wiiflow\themes folder should also be a .ini file with the name of the theme, for isntance, Carbonik.ini.

Well one thing is I've never tried loading wiiflow off of a hard drive, just an SD card. When you said you had the themes folder in the root directory, did you mean you have it in the root of the Wiiflow folder or the root of your drive?

So you have WiiFlow on a thumbdrive (as opposed to an SD card like I have), the forwarder and the games are on a hdd.

Hmm... Well, can Wiiflow even see the other themes when you try to change the theme or do they not even show up? I suppose it's possible that somewhere in the Wiiflow code it is looking in the wrong place for the themes folder?

I am having the exact same problem here. I installed WiiFlow as a channel (not a forwarder channel), I have my games off an external USB hard drive. WiiFlow can write games to my hard drive without any issues, but for some reason, it cannot locate any themes. I am very new at this, I just got my Wii yesterday night. I've updated IOS 249 to rev 15, updated the homebrew channel, formatted my hard drive so it has one FAT32 partition and one WBFS partition.
Any clues as to why this might not be working?

The only ideas that come to my mind is that your fat partition is not set to active or the self contained channel app can't access themes outside of the channel wad itself. If you installed triiforce as an app instead of a channel, you should have a themes folder that it should be able to locate.

I had the same problem using a Buffalo hard drive. What happens is that there is a very small hidden fat32 partititon, about 50Mb with local drivers for the disk. Wiiflow looks there for the themes. I noticed that after only half of the game images could be loaded but not the rest.
    Hope that helps.
