I am trying to upgrade to NeoGamma R8 B7. I currently have NeoGamma v 0.3. I have downloaded the file, and extracted the contents. Now I have (2) Folders and (2) read me files.
    (1) folder is NeoGamma which contains the boot.dol file, an icon file, and a meta file.
the other folder (2) is the source code folder which contains a data folder, lib folder, source folder, and some other files. All I am asking some one to help me out with is to tell me where to place these folders on my SD card. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I have firmware v 3.1, wad manager v 1.3, and my wii is softmodded (if this matters)....thanks.

Neogamma is a backup launcher that allows you to play backup games on your Wii.

There isn't a tutorial for Neogamma as it is self explanatory but more information of Wii Terminology can be found

muleguy - Best not to fiddle with creating your own channels until you do a lot of reading up and have sufficient bricdk protection. A noob with channel creation is a banner brick waiting to happen.

Picardplay - Neogamma is a backup loader, it load backup discs. It runs either through a channel (wad) or as an application (boot.dol)
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

No problem. All I used was CustomizeMii v1.0: CustomizeMii - WiiBrew

You simply take a "base" wad from here: Base WAD Database - WADder Wiki

And then load it up in CustomizeMii. You then replace the existing image files with new PNG images that you create. Same thing with the .dol. You'll simply insert the .dol from NeoGamma and then create the new wad file.

Error codes 1017 and 2011 indicate that the trucha bug is required and missing.

Error -1 is file(s) not found / are they at the root of the SD card or in the APPS folder

Yes, put the Wads in the Wad folder

@r4agze, open wad manager, and select ISO250 instead of 249 (default), then try install neogamma, worked for me.
