    play wads on the sd card?

    i have a bunch of vc wads and i don't have enough room on the wii's hdd, how can install and play them on the sd card?

    i was told i could do this through the hbc, i have wad manager but i don't see an option to do so

    after they are installed go nto your wii chananells managment and then just click on move and they will be sent to your sd card

    i just did that and i got an error

    failed to launch


    does this happen alot?

    researching it right now

    Make sure you have enough memory on the wii to copy the channel back over.

    Also look into triiforce, nand emulation

    yes, i have enough memory to transfer it back , still getting the error,, i'll look into that nand program,, thank you for the advice

    Why would someone use triiforce? I personally have my wii modded and VC and WiiWare games both work direct boot from SD card, just like they would from t he menu.

    I just want to know if its possible to have the contents of the SD card show up in the main Wii menu instead of the SD menu.

    Emulating the nand alows the installation of wads with out risk of nand corruption.
    The wii nand is limited in size, emulated nand is only limited to the size of storge device it contains
    Emulated nand can be launched from HBC, very cool for those of us who boot into HBC, or loader that supports dol loading.
