He was quoting momo me not you .
oh ok sorry for that.So i am backing up my NAND now.can i reformat sd card after i place files on pc?
Yes after you save your NAND to your PC your free to format your SD card, just do a test restore with your NAND backup to make sure it works.
No you don't have to donwload anything from piratebay, i was just stating that if you wanted the wads for VC or WiiWare then that would be your best route. And yes i was talking about MOMO and the idiodic response he gave to you that wasn't nice.
GET A CIOS
now i am stuck, i was using the guide i hit the this video link and there was no video.so you say i can deleat the card now!
e) Put the SD card into PC and copy the NAND backup somewhere safe, you can now delete it from your card. If you installed Bootmii as boot2 then also copy the Bootmii folder to your PC and either delete or rename it, otherwise it will load every time you switch your Wii on.
i am confused here
As i tried to load homebrew channel with out the sd card and i get nothing, i hit the home button and get the 4 box'x that say Back, about ... you know what i mean right!
And what the right to back up my games to play off the external hd?
Thanks so much sour as you been a great help so far man
Well you have to apps on your SD card for anything to show up in the homebrew channel, you can get this nifty little program called HomeBrew Browser here: Homebrew Browser - WiiBrew
Just download that and make a folder on your SD called apps, and put the homebrew broswer into that app folder. then when you load up the homebrew channel there will be a program in there called...AHA Homebrew Browser. You can then download games, applications, and utilities right from that program and it will make the appropriate folders on the SD card automatically [provided you have WiFi].
As far as the USB and what to do about that you can check these two posts out:
