Why wont my Wii load from SD card??

Hey folks, I'm brand new to this site and new to posting in forums for that matter.

Anyway, I am trying to HAck my 4.2 menu version Wii. I have read the tutorial and feel like I have a good understanding of each step BUT I can't get my Wii to load the downloaded apps from my SD card. it keeps stating that "Save data cannot be loaded directly from SD cards. To use save data stored on SD cards, first move it to the Wii System Memory".

I really feel like I am pulling a boob move and just missing the obvious here but WHAT?? Do I not understand the root directory?? I'm using the Hack Pack 4.2 sys menu. It is currently saved on my card as follows:

    apps
    private
    wad
    boot.elf
    IOS38-64-v3610.wad

Any help would really be appreciated here!!!

    Signed,
    Dazed and Confused

    Some basics.
SD\apps is the directory for .dols, loads from HBC.
SD\wad is the directory for wads to be installed by wad manager.

    Here are some tips.

Before you start anything, make sure you read the rules go over the tutorials, and most importantly, search before asking questions.

Make sure you post in the correct areas of the forums.

If you are starting from scratch, new 3.1-4.1 written by Dogeggs

If you already have Homebrew, upgrade to 4.1 written by Dogeggs

Donít update to 4.2, but if you are already on 4.2, complete 4.2 guide written by Messie

I hope you have a great time here at WiiHacks, and increase your knowledge of all things Wii.
