sounds like a driver issue on your PC if it doesn't work with either Nero or Imageburn

are you using XP or Vista,

what dvd drive are you using?

can you reinstall the drivers for it?

    right click MY COMPUTER

    MANAGE

    DEVICE MANAGER

click on the + next to DVD/CD-ROM DRIVES

it will then tell you the manufacturer and firmware of your DVD drive

you could try updrading the firmware, this can help the drive recognise newer discs
