    Question error message -1035

    hey,

ive messaged many time but im still a newby,

I got a message on the WAD manager (ret = -1035) while trying to load an IOS, is it something with the IOS or can it be fixed by using a different IOS to load it with because it loads all my other WADs fine.

by the way, its a 4.2u system and i have already uninstalled the ios249 stub from the system

    help would be appriciated

What IOS was it that you are trying to install? Were you able to get cios38rev14 loaded onto the sytem?

If it is the cios38 thats giving you problems, try this post:

yea, it wont lt me install that either,
but i found out that i could use a modified cios249 and it works now

but a problem came up, i by mistake downgraded my wii from 4.2u to 3.2u, now the DVD game channel wont work, it says i need an update, but everything else still works

is there a way i could get around that?

Sounds like you are having the same trouble I had. Read the thread and maybe this will help you.
