The wad goes to root of SD, not in wad or apps. Or use network install

Thanks for your reply, I'm still confused, cos when i open the cios38rev14 folder it contains a file cios38_rev14installer.dol. so its a dol file..? do I need to download a specific "cios installer" application to install cios38rev14 or is that the installer built into the folder..? Help and where shold the file go..?

Sorry yes you should rename it to boot.dol, usually all homebrew apps must be called boot.dol

I was talking about the IOS38xxxx.wad you have in the acrhive too.
