    Emulator help....please :)

    Hiya,

I have done the tutorial 'full hacking guide for 4.2 system' and my wii can now play back ups, which is fantastic.
But now how do i get emulators on, is there a tutorial anywhere as i can't seem to find it. I also don't want to put emulators on and mess all the hard work up that I've done. Please can someone point me in the right direction or explain how to do this.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

The easiest solution is to get Homebrew Browser for your Homebrew Channel go here : Homebrew Browser - WiiBrew

This will allow you to donwload what emulator you want and create the files accordingly on your SD card [you have to aquire the roms on your own, google can help out in this regard].

Your a star, thanks. Worked perfect.
I've already got the roms, do i just stick on on a dvd and burn it with img burn and then it play?
I know that might sound thick but I'm just new at this.

i'm not 100% sure if you can play roms off of a DVD. The easiest way to do it is to stick the roms onto your SD card, and then just change the settings in the emulator to point to the directory that you put the roms.

the root folder of the sd card or a special emulator/rom folder?!

Sorry to sound silly but by patch what do you mean, do you mean where i tell the emulator to read them from?

sorry i meant the path, your gonna basically mess with the settings in the emulator to point to the directory that you put your roms folder in.

It says in the load folder fcegx/saves/
How do i change it to look at my sd card and the folder i've made for it? Like what do i type in that box. I thought I'd have to open folders and point it there but i cant seem to find that. I've got the FCE ULTRA GX nes emulator.
