    4.2 update after Cioscorp

This kid gave me a Wii that he softmodded, and installed Cioscorp. He then updated to 4.2. I tried a few different tutorials on 4.2, but all of them tell me I don't have a vulnerable IOS installed on the console.

Is there any way around this yet? Or should I just give it back to him as an unmodded console?

Follow this guide to keep cioscorp
Tutorial:How to Run HackMii Installer with cIOSCorp Installed

Or unistall cioscorp, then you should be able to install the hackmii installer.

    Download cIOSCORP v3.4 Uninstall (LU64)
    Download bannerbomb 4.2 only

Backup your sd-card and format fat32.
    Extract bannerbomb to sd-card
Extract cioscorp uninstall to sd-card, rename its dol file to boot.dol
Do not put the sd-card in the wii
    Power on the wii
Push the sd-card icon (on the main wii screen, not from settings)
    Insert sd-card
    load boot.dol
Uninstall cioscorp- read and follow the directions

After that proceed to the 4.2 guide
Full hacking guide for 4.2 system menus!!!!

    Best of luck

If unsure you can email cioscorp from the unistall link.

Just kidding, still can't get it going.

All I can do is get Wad Manager working.

    No Homebrew channel.

Which way are you trying to do. Keep ciocorp or uninstall it? You don't need hbc or wadmanager to uninstall cioscorp. Just bannerbomb the cioscorp uninstaller.

Uninstall... Keep getting a black screen when I run bannerbomb for cioscorp uninstall. Can run wad manager fine.
