USB Loader GX Doesn't Work

I am running 4.2u with everything installed according to the wii hacks guide using bootmii for IOS. I am able to install wads just fine and run the emulators. When I try to load USB Loader GX it black screens everytime. It loaded only once and I was able to play two games on my USB Thumb Drive but haven't gotten it to work since. I am using a WFSB formatted 16GB Corsair Voyager in the right USB slot, which is listed as compatible. I also tried with my 8G one. I am using the latest r818 from the USB Loader GX website, built yesterday. Does anyone know how to get this application to work?

Does your Hdd have a power cord...

No

It's a Corsair 8G or 16G Voyager THUMB Drive. Thumb Drives do not have power cords.

When u did your WFSB format was that through Wii or PC... I went through wii and worked for me... Other than that i'n not sure...

Just lately I was having problems with USB loader GX.. would not load my HD and some games would not work... I went with configurable usbloader and everything is going smooth... mload 222 for IOS is installed and 223 also. the GH5 link has it there

I used PC version 3.0. How did you format it through the Wii?

Then i plugged in my Hdd and it created a WFSB Partition for me and let Wii do the rest...

if you want to format or load your HD from you pc it is quite easy and you should use your pc for the format... made for that sort of stuff :) Use WBFS manager 3.0 simeple to use.. Load the drive.. format and add files... all there is to it..

Solved

I guess the guide did not work properly so I followed the "optional" instructions for installing the cIOS at http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...4-2-wii-2.html. Once I did that the USB Loader GX is working everytime.
