hey guys im on 4.2 i have the homebrew channel and have installed dvdx at the beginning then as i go along to install the backup channel it says error it also says error when i try to downgrade to is36 or something need help thanks

Which guide are you following (assuming you are following a guide)?

If you are on 4.2, you should be following the second guide. From the sound of your situation, are trying to run the Trucha Bug Restorer? It is not applicable to 4.2.
