wii channels wont launch

some of my system channels wont launch after upgrading (the channels take me back to the system menu) to 4.1 wanikoko. If anyone has a solution to this problem a reply would be great.

the channels that take you back to your system menu are either out of date or are missing files within the channel.

are the channels you have of nintendo or of homebrew?

after updating from wanikoko
photo channel doesnt work:nintendo
internet channel doesnt work: homebrew
onslaught doesnt work: homebrew

however these channels install fine on my other wii

so what should I try to fix this

you should try with menuloader and turn on the regionfree channels option

It sounds like it is missing an IOS or its outdated. See what IOS they need and install them. Just Read this:

If I update to 4.2 (official) will the IOS's I need be restored?

If you update to 4.2 then all of your IOS and Channels should be up to date but this means you'll probably have to start from scratch to softmod your wii.

if I format the wii system and update to 4.2 will all homebrew be removed.

installed dvdx
installed homebrew channel
