    and use good quality DVD-R

    We recommend you burn using Verbatim DVD-R blanks. Burn your ISO to a backup disc using ImgBurn; your first attempt at 4X, if that copy fails, try again an 2.4 or 2X.

    Some Wiis can initially tolerate poor quality discs, some cannot. Verbatim is recommended due to the consistently dark azo dye that makes it easy for the DVD's laser to read the data. DVD-R writes the data in a continuous spiral, again making it easier for the laser armature (less head movement seeking the data). This ultimately allows the laser to retain its calibration longer with less wear and tear-longer use before failure.
