Hi guys, anyone managed to get this working using USB Loader GX?? It gets as far as "Press A to continue" and then the WII just freezes. I've tried using IOS 222,223 and 249 but have had no joy. Any ideas? Cheers

I can't get this game to run at all running off a DVDR - I get past the "press A to continue" and it locks up with the process indicator in the bottom right corner. I have system menu 3.2U is it possible that I need a newer system menu in order to run the game?

system menu won't make a difference, probably missing or outdated IOS.Originally Posted by Telek

Left there for a good 10 minutes and nothing. If I unplug USB the DVD starts to flash with no DVD in it, more 10 minutes nothing, plug USB back DVD stops but anything happens. I have 4.2E softmoded with Full hacking guide for 4.2 system menus!!!! and installed the lastest Hermes' IOS222/223. I’m using Configurable USB Loader.
There's a torrent thread with a few people posting similar problems so I'm certain that it's not limited to just a few people...
Does anyone know of anyone who actually has the game working?
I've tried using all sorts of different settings in the backup launcher and it doesn't seem to change anything.
Anyone have any ideas?
I have completed the game. I played it from USB.
As stated above, you probably have missing IOS's
Any chance you could tell us what IOSes you have?
I followed the instructions on Guitar Hero 5 guide to install Hermes' Ios222/223 and worked fine ...using USB loader
As an FYI I managed to get it to work by using the USB Loader and IOS 222/223 - but it still won't work directly off the DVD.
