I'm not new to the scene, but I was interested in people's opinions on the pros and cons of the two firmwares mentioned. I'm currently on 3.2E and I'm pretty happy with it. I have HBC, Starfall and GammaLoader installed, and it all works fine. The idea of running Wiiware and VC from the SD card is tempting though, so I'm considering updating to 4.1E. What will I get, and what will I lose? And is it simply a case of installing Waninkoko's 4.1 updater?
I'd be interested in any opinions. :)
The only advantage that 4.1 gives you is that you can play VC/Wiiware from your SD Card. Remember you're going to 4.1, you'll be installing a new system menu which means Starfall will be removed. So when you go up to 4.1, you're going to have to install Preloader or StartPatch. Here is how to go to 4.1 safely:

Don't forget, the the other feature conferred by 4.1 is the ability to use SDHC cards up to 32 GB. That allows lots of WiiWare and VC to reside on that SD card.
It's funny; the first two responses to statto's question are from two mods on 3.2Wiis.

Thanks for the replies. I just have a couple of questions (presuming I upgrade).
If Starfall is going to stop working should I just delete it from the HBC first?
The WiiBrew page for Preloader cautions against installing it on a system with modded IOSes. Does this mean I should be wary of installing it?
