The system files are corrupted. Please refer to the Wii Operations Manual for help troubleshooting.
This is the only screen I can get to. Even on restart. Does this mean that I am totally bricked? What are my options?
I did back up the hard drive on an SD via the "nand" recommendation of soft mod.
Please help, I am slipping into panic mode. Thanks:confused:
How did it happen?
Do you have bootmii as boot2 or ios or not?
Do you have preloader, can you access it by holding reset down?
my wii version was 3.4u (so I think boot2)and I was following the instructions and when I reset the system I couldnt get to wii's startup page just I think the preloader page. Now I cant get to any screen other than "files are corrupted.................etc."
if it is boot2 put the bootmii files on your sd card and reboot the wii, it should load bootmii.
What guide did you follow? What part bricked your wii?
You can not start preloader via reset hold?
Try to hold the reset button down until the wii reboots and preloader comes up. If you can load preloader you should be able to launch the homebrew channel and reinstall preloader, or run the preloader installer from preloader.
system files corrupt message can be caused by preloader, so it could be that preloader is dead, in which case you better hope and pray you have bootmii as boot2 ;)Quote:
